Funding Report for June 2026
Digital private markets rebound to €268M in June after May slowdown
June recorded €267.7 million in reported online funding across digital lending and regulated crowdfunding platforms, representing a 14 percent increase from May on the current reporting basis, while remaining 6 percent below the same month last year.
After May marked the weakest month in the past twelve months, reported funding activity moved back above €250 million. Consumer debt and real estate debt both recorded stronger activity, while SME business debt remained broadly stable.
The rebound was supported by renewed activity across several large loan reselling platforms, stronger real estate funding, and the addition of Maclear as a new reporting platform in June.
What the data shows
June was a stronger month for reported digital private market funding, but the recovery was still concentrated around selected platforms.
The largest driver of the rebound was Mintos, which increased 37 percent to €109.1 million and added almost €30 million in monthly funding compared to May. PeerBerry also continued to grow, reaching €38.4 million, while Esketit increased 46 percent to €8.2 million.
Loan reselling platforms accounted for most reported funding in June. Maclear joined the reporting dataset with €10.6 million in reported business lending volume, while Nectaro returned with €5.0 million after two months without reported volumes.
Direct crowdfunding also improved, supported by stronger activity from Rontgen, CapitalRise, Swisspeers, Crowdpear, and Kuflink. Rontgen rose 74 percent to €9.7 million, while CapitalRise rebounded sharply from a weak May to €6.7 million.
However, the rebound was not evenly distributed. Several platforms still recorded lower monthly volumes, showing that the improvement was driven by selected areas of strength rather than a broad-based acceleration across the entire market.
Overall, June points to a market where investor demand remains active, but selective. Capital continues to concentrate around established platforms and specific lending opportunities, while broader market momentum remains uneven.

June 2026 Updates
June brought two market milestones, a new reporting platform, and continued progress toward the next version of P2PMarketData.
Crowdpear surpassed €50 million in loans funded since inception, while Rontgen reached €300 million in total funded loans. Congratulations to both teams on these milestones.
Maclear also joined P2PMarketData as a new reporting platform. Maclear shares statistics as a Switzerland-based loan reselling marketplace facilitating EUR-denominated business loan investments across Europe. The platform is connected to the wider 8lends ecosystem, where 8lends focuses on crypto crowdlending and Maclear gives investors access to a more traditional marketplace lending setup.
We also published a new interview with Zane Sniedze, CEO of Digilo, covering the platform’s positioning in a competitive crowdfunding market, its focus on real estate-backed SME lending, and how the team approaches project evaluation, risk management, and long-term growth.
Behind the scenes, P2PMarketData 2.0 is now in testing ahead of launch. The upcoming version will introduce new research and screening tools designed to help investors discover, compare, and evaluate private market investment opportunities more efficiently. Investors interested in early access or providing feedback are welcome to get in touch.
