He initially focused on sourcing reclaimed materials while designing his boutique hotel, Casa La Siesta, in Cadiz. Bert & May creates unique, vintage-inspired tiles using traditional techniques, offering a variety of materials such as cement, porcelain, glazed, marble, and terrazzo. Their products are recognized for exceptional craftsmanship and a raw yet refined aesthetic. The company has expanded its range over the years and collaborates with top architects and designers. Notable partnerships, including one with Soho House, have helped establish its reputation in the interior design market.
