What is Credon?

Credon is managed by Credon P2P d.o.o., headquatered in Croatia. Credon is a Resale Marketplace Lending platform, which means it aggregates pre-funded loans from partner organisations (loan originators) and re-sells them to investors. It carries a Crowdfunding License from the Bank of Lithuania.

Credon allows you to provide funding to individuals by investing in short-term personal loans. Credon only serves lenders, so you can’t apply for a loan directly on the platform.

What does Credon offer?

At Credon, you can invest in projects denominated in EUR starting from €20. You can also set up an auto-invest feature and buy and sell loans on a secondary market.

Credon doesn’t separate investors’ funds from the platform company assets and doesn’t have a wind-down plan in place to ensure minimal damage in case the platform goes out of business. It doesn’t disclose statistics about its funded loans but shares its monthly funding volumes with P2PMarketData.

Who founded Credon?

Credon was founded in 2021 by Juozas Rupšys. Juozas has over 25 years of experience. His professional background is mainly in entrepreneurship, and finance. Juozas has been, among other positions, a Founder and CEO of CreditOnline — a loan servicing software provider. He's graduated from Leningrad Art Academy.
