Crypto Marketplace Lending

Crypto marketplace lending involves the use of blockchain technology to facilitate debt investments in the crypto world. It can involve investing in loans in fiat currencies, secured by cryptocurrency collateral (centralised crypto lending - Ce-Fi) or pooling assets in an application governed by code (smart contracts), which generates loans and automates yield payments (decentralised crypto lending - De-Fi). Both models, in principle, serve the same purpose - to provide borrowers with liquidity without requiring them to sell off their underlying crypto assets.
