Crypto Loan

A crypto loan involves lending money with a cryptocurrency as collateral. Cryptocurrency-backed loans allow borrowers to access fiat currencies without selling their crypto assets. Due to the high volatility of crypto prices, loans are almost always overcollateralized – this means the collateral value is (much) higher than the loan amount to provide sufficient protection for the lender in case the price of crypto drops.
